Star Performance Group Thought Leaders:

Brian Wegerle (1954 – 2007)

Co- founder with his wife Jenni, Brian Douglas Wegerle established The Pacific Institute, South Africa in 1995.Brian

Brian was a ‘well-known’ in the field of Organisation-wide Transformation Consulting and Support. His life’s work focussed on the people and behavioural side of organisational effectiveness and community by concentrating on personal mastery and capacity building. From days of work in Middleburg and civil unrest that threatened the town’s stability, to explosive circumstances, being Chairman of the Alexandra Interim Crisis Committee prior to South Africa’s first democratic election in 1994, to standing in the boardrooms of many of South Africa’s corporate organisations, Brian’s catalysing role was witnessed in one breakthrough after another. The depth and breadth of his knowledge of the obstacles to transformation and in-depth understanding of social systems earned him deference in every circle.

Brian’s relationships with people began with him having held senior positions in companies such as Anglo American, the Barlows Group and Nedbank. Using the education of The Pacific Institute, and linking it to a Strategic Vision Building process he managed to empower most individuals and teams to ALIGN around the organisational strategy, purpose, vision and goals.

Lou Tice ( 1935 – 2012)

LouPast Chairman and Co-founder with his wife Diane, Lou Tice formally established The Pacific Institute in 1971.

Translating psychological results from pure research and putting them into practical easy-to-understand and even easier to use concepts and principles became the hallmark of Lou Tice and The Pacific Institutes’ education. Through his teaching, he made a difference to countless numbers of individuals all over the world.

Today, the education is found in over 60 countries, on 6 continents and translated into over 20 languages. This education too, has had a profound impact on the work of the Star Performance Group around the world over the past 18 years.

It is said that Lou was a ‘catalyst for change’. Perhaps it was not Lou himself, but the education he and Diane created that allowed individuals and organisations to improve the quality of their search for better truths to the vexing challenges they face.

Throughout his TPI life, he believed in the capacity of all of us to achieve more and his legacy is founded on this continuing quest to make the world a better place.

“We move toward, and become like that which we think about. Our present thoughts determine our future.” – Lou Tice
